OFFICE POLICIES AND PRIVACY
Length of Appointments
During your first visit with me, we will meet for 60 minutes to explore your reasons for seeking psychotherapeutic care, current needs, and your goals for the future. This is a mutual process where you get to experience what working with me will be like and if you feel comfortable in the space.
After the initial visit, we will decide if 45 or 60 minute sessions best meet your needs. Family sessions or those that involve a supportive person in your life will be 60 minutes.
Late or Missed Appointments
I begin and end each appointment on time. In the event of an unexpected client crisis requiring the extension of a session, I will always let you know within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment to allow you the flexibility to reschedule. If you need to reschedule, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance to cancel an appointment. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice or if you do not show up to your appointment without 24 hour notice, you will be charged the cost of the full session. Insurance does not cover late cancellations. Please keep in mind that missed appointments disrupt your progress in treatment.
Payment / Insurance
Payment in full is due at the time of each appointment. Checks, cash, all major credit cards, Paypal, Venmo, and Chase Quickpay are accepted.
I am an in-network provider with Cigna, Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Pacific Source/Reliant Behavioral Health.
If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, I am happy to provide you with a superbill to provide to your insurance company.
I also offer a limited sliding scale and am happy to discuss this with you during our initial phone consultation. My goal (and yours) is to help you feel better.
Questions or Concerns
I believe that respect and open communication is the foundation for any lasting and meaningful therapeutic change. I encourage you to share any questions or concerns that you may have regarding my policies, procedures, or your treatment at any point in the process. This is your therapy and you should always feel comfortable and respected!
