TRAUMA & WELLNESS CONSULTING

I conduct workshops and public speaking events in corporate and non-profit settings on trauma, vicarious trauma, self-care, workplace and personal wellness. Many of my workshops address issues relevant to living in a modern, high-paced world with rising rates of chronic illness and pain conditions, food allergies and intolerances, and cost of medical care and insurance affecting all of our communities regardless of socioeconomic status.
Trauma-informed care workshops and speaking events are targeted to support organizations that may directly or indirectly serve traumatized populations. My trainings provide a significant component of trauma-informed care philosophy: addressing and preventing vicarious/secondary trauma and burnout, and supporting self-care. Contact me directly for more information. Additionally, I am affiliated with Trauma-Informed Oregon (www.traumainformedoregon.org).
Health and wellness workshops are targeted to organizations looking to support job and school attendance and increase productivity by empowering employees, students, and parents with information to proactively manage a wide variety of health and food issues and take charge of their own and their families’ health and well-being.
Additionally, I have contributed to articles on mental health and relationships for Forbes, Bustle, and Women's Health magazines.
